Can I Work While I’m an International Student?

1) Study and Work in Canada

You can work during a study in Canada as an International student, and there are a lot of Part-time Jobs in Canada for International Students. In Canada, you can work up to 20 hours a week, and during a break or scheduled holidays, you may work up to 40 hours a week. If you exceed the 20 hours a week limit, it will be considered a violation, and you can lose your student status if you do this. 

 

2) Study and Work in the USA

Like many other countries, the USA also allows students to work during their studies, but with some restrictions. You can work on-campus up to 20 hours per week when school is in session and full-time during school break periods (up to 40 hours per week).

3) Study and Work in the United Kingdom

Like USA and Canada, you can work while studying in the UK, but you must follow some restrictions and regulations. During holidays students can work up to full time, and during a language course term, you are not permitted to work more than 10 hours each week.

5) Study and work in Australia: 

Australia allows international students to work for 40 hours per fortnight during their studies. In New Zealand, International students can work up to 20 hours a week if they are studying full time and their course is at least two years long, or they’re studying for a qualification that gives them points towards an application for a Skilled Migrant Category. International students can work 40 hours a week during the summer break, and Research master’s and students pursuing PhD students can work 40 hours a week throughout the year.
